Four backpack carrier were killed and another wounded due to a gunfire shot by the Iranian armed forces.
Mirovayeti stated that on Sunday Feb 10th 2017 a group of Kurdish backpack carrier were ambushed in the border region between Salmas and Turkey and they were shot by the Iranian armed forces.
Mirovayeti correspondent in Salmas said that as a result of this gunfire two backpack carrier died and another two severely wounded.
An associate said that this armed force is based in military compound in Kozeh Rash Village of Salmas region.
According o Kurdpa the name of two victims who lost their lives are Khosrow Kazemi 42 years old son of Esmail and Dariuosh Pashaieh 35 years old, son of Pasha from Khoz Khoreh village of Salmas region.
These victims are resorted to backpack carrier as the only means of breadwinning.
So far no officials or ordinary individuals have been prosecuted due to opening gunfire at backpack carrier in the Iranian Kurdistan. The only excuse of Iranian government regarding this type of incident is to protect the border region and national security.
