Arrest of another Kurdish citizen in Sanandaj for an unspecified charge

Arrests wholesale and without charge specified Kurdiah citizens in Sanandaj province, Increased significantly in last 6 month more than ever.

Roji Kurd: “On 20, February, 2018 ”Omar Rahmani” from Sanandaj City and a famous athlete in this province, has been arrested and has been transferred to unknown place by Iranian Intelligence Agency,” according to the Kurdpa news agency.

This Kurdish citizen was arrested at his father’s house during an influx of intelligence ministry forces.

There is no information on the reason for the arrestment and the place, which he has been transferred to, yet and his fate is unclear till now.

”Omar Rahmani” from Sanandaj City is a member of the handball team of Sanandaj province, and his fate is unclear.

Also “Monireh Sultanzadeh”, another arrested Kurdish citizen in  recent protests, was sentenced to six months in prison on charges of “propaganda against the regime.”
