Jail Sentencing for 5 Kurdish citizens due to participation in recent anti-government demonstration in Iran

Five Kurdish citizen issued a penalty of 15 years imprisonment, due to participating in recent anti-government dissatisfactions by the revolutionary court in Urmia ,Iran.

Roji Kurd: “On 22, February, 2018, Issued to for 5 Kurdish citizens due to participation in recent anti-government dissent, by “Reza Najafzadeh” presidency of branch 3 of the Revolutionary Court of Urmia”, According to the report Kurdistan Human Rights Organization-Rojhelat.

Matin Khalidi, Omid Zendedel, Nasser Hassani, Hassan Ordoukhani and Monire Soltanzadeh are the five Kurdish citizens who have been sentenced to imprisonment.

Each of “Matin Khalidi” and “Omid Zendedel” were sentenced to six years prison on charges of “acting against national security” and “propaganda against the regime”. According to the news.

Each of “Nasser Hassani” and “Hassan Ordoukhani” also have been sentenced to one year in prison for “propaganda against the regime”.

Also “Monireh Sultanzadeh”, another arrested Kurdish citizen in  recent protests, was sentenced to six months in prison on charges of “propaganda against the regime.”
