Arrest of a Kurdish citizen from Piranshahr by the Iranian Intelligency Agency.

A Kurdish citizen from Piranshahr was arrested and detained by the Iranian Intelligency Agency,in the aftermath of the massive arrests and violations of human rights in Kurdistan of Iran.

Roji Kurd: On 27,February,2018 “54-years-old” , “Mohammad Patashi”son of Mohammad Karim,from Piranshahr city arrested by the Iranian Intelligency Agency,Kurdistan-based Human Rights Organization-Rojhelat,reported,quoting the Kurdpa news agency.

The charge and reason for the arrest of this Kurdish citizen, “membership in the Kurd Party”, was against the Iranian regime and “action against national security”.

Mohammad Patashi was detained at the Piranshahr Information Office prison and his family’s efforts to communicate with his child and to know about his situation have not been resolved,Until the release of the news.

This Kurdish citizen was arrested at his father’s house during an influx of intelligence ministry forces.

There is no information on the reason for the arrestment and the place, which he has been transferred to, yet and his fate is unclear till now.

”Omar Rahmani” from Sanandaj City is a member of the handball team of Sanandaj province, and his fate is unclear.

  • “On 22, February, 2018, Issued to for 5 Kurdish citizens due to participation in recent anti-government dissent, by “Reza Najafzadeh” presidency of branch 3 of the Revolutionary Court of Urmia”, According to the report Kurdistan Human Rights Organization-Rojhelat.

Matin Khalidi, Omid Zendedel, Nasser Hassani, Hassan Ordoukhani and Monire Soltanzadeh are the five Kurdish citizens who have been sentenced to imprisonment.

Each of “Matin Khalidi” and “Omid Zendedel” were sentenced to six years prison on charges of “acting against national security” and “propaganda against the regime”. According to the news.

Each of “Nasser Hassani” and “Hassan Ordoukhani” also have been sentenced to one year in prison for “propaganda against the regime”.

  • Also “Monireh Sultanzadeh”, another arrested Kurdish citizen in  recent protests, was sentenced to six months in prison on charges of “propaganda against the regime.”
