Two Other Iranian Kurdish Prisoners Executed

Two Kurdish prisoners from Kermanshahan province of Iranian Kurdistan were executed on Monday Sunday in public.

An Iranian rights monitoring website, Hangaw, reported that the order was enforced near Shuresh Bridge in the town of Sar Pole Zahab, Kermanshahan.

The source referred to the executed people by their family names as Kishmand and Mohammadi, while giving only the initials of their first names.

According to the website, one of the executed people was a retired army officer. Both of the prisoners were sentenced for an armed robbery of a jewelry shop last year in their town, Sar Pole Zahab.

Reportedly, the two men, aided by a woman from the Kurdish Ilam province, killed a member of security forces in the robbery and were sentenced to capital punishment.

The figures by Hangaw website show in the course of only eight days 16 people at different locations of Iran were executed, including four Kurds.
